SPI Xpress USB-Based SPI Host Adapter

SPI Xpress is a Serial Peripheral Interface protocol exerciser and analyzer controlled from PC.
It operates on standard SPI and non-standard 4-wires and 3-wires serial protocol interfaces up to 50 Mbps data rate.

Serial Peripheral Interface has become a de facto standard for chip-to-chip communication and peripheral control, like real-time clocks, displays, microcontrollers. Its full-duplex and relative simple communication scheme also present many advantages for point-to-point data streaming to DSP, ADC and DAC.

SPI Xpress is controlled with the 8PI Control Panel software, through the GUI, the TCL/tk scripting interface and the freely provided C/C++ API. Programming interfaces are especially useful when low-level debug must be synchronized with higher-level software debug.
